Remote control project

New project of ROV Remote Control is under development. It allows to control ROV from surface.

Features:

  1. Atmega8 micro controller.
  2. RS485 half duplex interface.
  3. Playstation2 joystick interface.
  4. RS232 aux interface.
  5. Graphical LCD display 128x64 pixels.
  6. Windows software for custom LCD design

Could we use the software available in http://www.rollette.com/rovrev2/?
It would be a nice combination. Unfortunately, I have no idea on informatics so as to write my own software, and found this one several years ago; since I studied biology, I fell in love with this tech stuff: ROV's; still trying to make one myself, but never found one nice to make; may be this one is it, with some modifications to increase the "depth of flight"; the lower is the more fascinating, where we can find ancient-look species.

Simple answer is: you can't use rollette soft :-)
My goal is to provide complete solution for rov, but I do not when...
